Royal visit to mark the 150th Jubilee of Sofiero in Helsingborg

On 6 June, the inauguration of Sofiero’s 150th Jubilee will take place in the form of public festivities and Sweden’s National Day celebrations in the presence of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. The festivities will mark the opening of both a brand new Jubilee Garden and a Jubilee Exhibition at the Palace.

On 6 June you are invited in your capacity as a journalist to join us for Sofiero’s 150th Jubilee and National Day celebrations.

Place: Sofiero Palace, Helsingborg, Sweden.
Time: Monday 6 June, 10 am - 1:30 pm.

Bear in mind that you must be an accredited journalist. We would ask you to register via the link by Monday 30 May at the latest.

A short press conference will be held during the day, and there will also be a number of photo opportunities.

Because Sofiero is celebrating its 150th jubilee, it will be hosting Helsingborg’s official National Day celebrations this year. Events during the day will include the opening of the Jubilee Exhibition on “Royal Artistry” at the Palace and the new Jubilee Garden, and there will also be a Jubilee programme of performances staged by a travelling theatre.
